There need to be various opinions here, as long as those are based on sensible analyses. Nobody can pick a stock that outperforms any other stocks at any single time period. As a matter of fact, such stock does not exist. So, any ridicule based on relative performance within an arbitrarily fixed time period is total BS.

LDK is not a bad pick at this moment, IMO, because it has some upside, reasonable safety, and brisk volatility, basically a lot to offer no matter what kind of investor/trader you are.
