In his statement to the Senate Armed Services Committee, Adm. Charles A. Richard said China’s DF-41 nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) became operational last year.
DF-41 is the fourth and the latest generation of the Dongfeng series strategic missiles developed by China.
Richarded added that China has stood up at least two brigades for the DF-41.
