this 'news' are incorrect, including the number of the submarines, missiles, ranges, time, ...etc.  Thais is the persistent low level of American and British intelligence capabilities.  For decades, they have not changed a bit.

In the past, it's necessary for China to hide the sensitive numbers because of China was too much behind and too much weaker than the US/USSR/Russia.  However, situation has changed dramatically now.  Besides, it's more urgent right now for China to show some of its nuclear hands in order to deter the evil empire's pressures and malicious intentions, so that they won't plan any mindless, sudden, preemptive nuclear strikes against China, or even think about putting China back to stone age.  That's too ridiculous and dangerous for everybody!

Before 1999, China had 8 for quite some time,  By 2007, China had 16.  How many in total do you think China has now, with a couple of 091 retired recently?  094 on duty?  That's already history for years.  Next time, we'll talk about 095/096.
