I only have time for a short note.  I will provide more sanitized info tomorrow or this weekend.  Based on all the inputs so far, the preliminary conclusion from all the indications and incoming information is that:

1.  It a missile, not an airplane.

2.  It's ballistic, not cruise.

3.  It's not American, very, very unlikely Russian, British, or French.

4.  The missile was fired away from the continental US toward Pacific Ocean, but US military didn't/couldn't know where it landed.

5.  None whatsoever of US government, including military, agencies/units has any knowledge of this launch.

6.  It's NOT an ACCIDENTAL LAUNCH BY US.

7.  It's from a submarine, likely a nuclear one.

8.  This underwater launch platform has been within 30 NM from CA coast UNDETECTED by US Navy/Coast Guard for some time already.  The submarine is an extremely silent one, and at today's US technology, US cannot detect it thus cannot defend against it.

9.  Since the missile was flying away from the US, it did not pose a threat to the US defense at the launch.

10. So far US government and military are totally shocked and paralyzed to respond plausibly.

11. It's considered as a clear and blatant WARNING to the US of not doing something it's doing now.

12. The US defense hole against SLBM/SLCM is as big as a black hole.

13. The nuclear submarine is believed belonging to ......

14. So far the owner country of this submarine is completely silent on this launch and is expected by the US government to remain mum unless situation warrants otherwise, but the message has been sent and received unambiguously and loudly.

15. A tipping point is very close now ......, don't ask me for the details.
