Members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Special Action Force (SAF) take part in a hostage rescue drill to show their capabilties in responding to a hostage crisis at a police camp in Manila on September 9, 2010. On August 23, Hong Kong tourists were taken hostage on their bus by a dismissed policemen which resulted in the deaths of eight of the tourists. Philippine investigators admitted for the first time on September 9 that police may have shot some of the tourists in the bungled rescue operation in Manila.
