Rescuers wait to be transported down the Qianqiu coal mine to carry on rescue operations after a rock burst accident in Sanmenxia, Henan province November 4, 2011. Rescuers lifted seven injured miners to the surface from a coal mine in central China's Henan province after a rock burst Thursday killed four and trapped another 50, local rescue headquarters said Friday, Xinhua News Agency reported.

Forty-five grimy, exhausted miners trapped by a cave-in were rescued Saturday, ending a 36-hour ordeal in the world's most dangerous country for the industry.
