| 刚好今天还在湾区一个知名HIGH-TECH新闻网站VENTUREBEAT上看到下面这篇文章: Amazon falls behind? Chinese e-reader maker Hanvon to debut first color E Ink device http://venturebeat.com/2010/11/08/amazon-falls-behind-chinese-ebook-maker-hanvon-to-debut-first-color-e-ink-reader/ ========================== Hanvon, China’s largest e-book manufacturer, will be debuting the first device to use a color E Ink display on Tuesday, according to a report by the New York Times. =========================== 本来是件好消息!里面提到的HANVON就是国内的汉王。 是纽约时报上的新闻。上述新闻里面都给出了汉王的网址: http://www.hanvon.com/en/ 点进去一看,可惜啊!原来他们英文网站上的英文实在是太差了一点,这里随便举几个例子。 先看看这样的标题: 标题一:“Our Achieves” 估计应该是“我们的成就” “Our Achievements" 标题二:“Our Core" 看内容估计应该是“我们的核心技术”“Our Core Technologies" 还有最狠的是下面段落里的几句: ================== Who Are We? http://www.hanvon.com/en/about/WhoAreWe.html We are the founder of the national patented Chinese Handwriting Recognition Technology in Beijing. Now a day, we have created over 70% market share in handwriting market and over 70% in OCR market. ================================ 这里彪悍的用法比比皆是,比如:"started from a scientist"..."strongly you can find out"..."now a day"..."not only won us"..."but also synchronous attracted the corporation(应该是co-operation) opportunity"...而且这里的“co-operation opportunity"合作机会也完全是中式英语,实际上几乎全都是中式英语。山寨公司的网站也就罢了,现在这样要进军美国市场,如此英文网站是不是有 些太说不过去了? 本来如果他们的网站能够至少英文通顺,现在这样的纽约时报媒体报道对他们来说绝对会更加有帮助。但是现在这样大家看到他们如此的英文网站内容,多少会对他 们的产品和实力有所疑问。我不是故意要取笑他们,实际上我觉得大家对自己的民族企业应该坚决支持,但是确实也应该看到不知为什么,类似的例子还真不少。所 以我很怀疑ZTE的老总们是否真都想到我前面帖子里面的那些事情了。。。 我这里说到的汉王的网站内容大家可以自己看看: http://www.hanvon.com/en/about/WhoAreWe.html |
